Hieronymus Bosch (1453-1516) was a dutch painter - his work is well-known for the use of fantastic imagery to represent moral issues and religious concepts. His work combines elements from both the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and his images seem to stem from an oneiric world, nightmares and very often unpleasant fantasies…
Bosch’s work is difficult to explain but at the same time fascinating. In my view, the great thing about Bosch is that his work does not look like any of his contemporaries. His vision and inspiration was unique and his name is very often linked with artists such as Dali, who lived in a different era. The disturbing images of his artworks, which seem to relate to forms of the subconscious mind, could be seen as an early surrealistic form of art.

I love his work…

beautiful, exotic & colourful jewellery by Claudia Pink

Pink's work reminds me a lot of Josephine Baker - an american-french 1920s diva - entertainer, actress and cabaret dancer, who was famous for her iconic performance style.
